Abstract

The author of the paper analyses the administrative transformation of the stateforming way of prince Roman Mstyslavovych from the time of the foundation of the Halych-Volyn principality, on the basis of the source materials, the peculiarities of the development of the political processes, the administrative transformation at the end of the 12th — and the beginning of the 13th centuries are revealed. The actuality of this topic is explained by the fact that in the modern historiography there is no well-founded importance of the administrative transformation problem in the history of stateforming aspirations of the Halych-Volyn, great prince and autocrat of the all Rus’ Roman Mstyslavovych at the end of the 12th — at the beginning of the 13th centures.

The questions of finding the role of the foundation of the new administrative transformation, military campaigns, formation of the political system of «collective suzerainty» in the Rus’ are considered. Fairly unknown aspects of the activity of Roman Mstyslavovych, in particular of the new borders of prince Roman states are traced. Main attention is paid exactly to the administrative transformation of Roman Mstyslavovych, especially to the Western, Eastern, Nothern and Southern vectors of the policy of Roman Mstyslavovych. Peculiarities of the administrative transformation at the end of the 12th — and the beginning of the 13th centuries are discovered. The most discussible questions of the administrative transformation of the Halych-Volyn, the great prince and the autocrat of the all Rus’ are considered.

To write this artice, the author used the following scientific methods: problem-chronological, historical, historico-comparative, induction, deduction and analysis, principles of scientific objectivity, historism, logic and consistency, and also the biographical approach and the actualisation technique.

The scientific novelty of this article lies in the fact that for the first time on the basis of the evidence-based research of the source base and literature there have been analysed the role, the place and the importance of the administrative transformation in the history of stateforming aspirations of prince Roman at the end of the 12th — at the beginning of the 13th centures.

The conclusions about the great role of Roman Mstyslavovych of the administrative transformation in the history of stateforming aspirations at the end of the 12th — at the beginning of the 13th centures have been drawn.

All this is important for proper understanding the historical development of the South-West Rus’ and of the place of the first Halych-Volyn prince, the great prince and the autocrat of all Rus’ Roman Mstyslavovych in the history of stateforming aspirations at the end of the 12th — at the beginning of the 13th centures. The study of the great prince and the autocrat of the all Rus’ Roman’s course of life is one of the components of our further developing the topic of the role the Romanovych dynasty played in the stateforming of the Ukraine-Rus’.
